Working closely with the Kraken team as well as TfL London, I produced the various large artwork files needed to create this bus wrap. I wanted real metal textures and distressed vehicle damage to try create the most realistic look possible.
I also championed the lenticular Kraken eye, which TfL was initially sceptical about. It uses multiple lenticular 'frames', so that when the bus travels past the viewer, the eye's pupil will appear animated, as if looking around for its next victim. This turned out to be the client's favourite part of the project.
